Learn to Sit StillThe practice of Mediation is related to controling our thoughts. One type of thoughts ust pop up unannounced and uninvited into our brains for no discernable reason. These are result of previos thoughts and experiences that have left traces inour brain's neural pathways. To practice thinking not thinking, all you need to do is ignore those kind of thoughts and learn how not to instigate the other kind of thoughts. This is easier said than done, of course. But get intothe habit and it begins to come naturally.Reality is what itis, beyond all concepts of success and failure. This passage was lifted in parts from article by Brad Warner.
